Das RecyClass Zertifizierungsschema für Recycled Plastic (Traceability) wurde 2019 europaweit eingeführt, um die Nachverfolgung des Rezyklatgehaltes von der Recyclinganlage über den Converter bis hin zum Halb- bzw. Endprodukt nachzuweisen.

Eine Anforderung an die Zertifizierungsstelle ist eine Akkreditierung nach DIN/EN 17065. Wir arbeiten hier sowohl für RecyClass Recycling Process als auch für das RecyClass Recycled Plastic Zertifizierungsschema mit der akkreditierten Zertifizierungsgesellschaft Kiwa Netherlands B. V. zusammen. Beide Zertifizierungsschemata bilden für Akteure in der Kunststoff-Wertschöpfungskette die Möglichkeit die Qualität ihrer Recyclingprozesses nachzuweisen sowie Transparenz und Rückverfolgbarkeit über die verifizierte Verwendung von recycelten Kunststoffen darzulegen.

Thus, the certificates issued in this way can be used, among other things, for the recognition of the recycled content in connection with the Spanish plastic tax for the certification of recycled plastics according to UNE EN 15343:2008. After the on-site inspection, the results of the audit are summarised in the web-based online tool from RecyClass. Afterwards, a test report is generated via the online tool and the certificate is issued, stating the origin of the recyclate and the percentage of post- and pre-consumer content in the recyclate, semi-finished or finished product.
